Pep Guardiola Insists That Man City Can Still Catch Liverpool in Title Race

​Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has opened up on their shock 2-0 loss to ​Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday and has reiterated that while the distance between them and ​Liverpool is “big”, they can still catch up with the Reds.

City’s loss on the night mean that they are now eight points behind Liverpool in the title race. which favours the Reds as it is the biggest lead that any side has had after the first eight games in Premier League history

“I know these guys. They are still incredibly involved and they can still do it. The distance is big, I know that. For many circumstances, they [Liverpool] didn’t drop points. It is better not to think one team is eight points ahead. It is only October. There are still a lot of games,” Guardiola said post the game, as quoted by ​BBC.
