Sao Paulo school shooting: Ten dead after ‘hooded gunmen’ open fire in Brazil

At least ten people are dead after two hooded teen gunmen carried out a mass school shooting before killing themselves, police in Brazil say.

Witnesses described horrifying scenes as terrified pupils and staff – some of them bloodied – ran screaming from the school.

At least six students and a two staff members were killed in the massacre at the Raul Brasil elementary school on the eastern outskirts of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Seventeen others were injured.

Two hooded gunmen, who appeared to be teens, opened fire just as classes began on Wednesday morning and then killed themselves, bringing an end to the shooting spree, local media reported.

Sao Paulo state governor Joao Doria said that the victims had been “cruelly murdered” in a Twitter post.Continue Reading
