City aim to honour late defender Tshehla with MDC triumph

Polokwane City coach Machete Moloto is confident that his reserve team has what it takes to challenge for the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) honours this season.

Moloto’s confidence is drawn from his team’s bright run after eight-matches. They’ve collected 16 points and are adrift from pacesetters Cape Town City by just three points.

“Our focus is to go to the Spain trip,”Moloto said”. “The trip also helps players for their exposure because they start to compete in numbers. Even when they go to the senior team, the trip prepares them for stage fright. If you could check, we’ve only added three senior players to our team against Baroka. I am proud of the character that has been shown by my team.”
